THOUGHTFUL INTERIOR DESIGN FOR THE MODERN FAMILY HOME
Sara Ho Design is an interior design studio focused on e-design and residential design, for the contemporary, livable home. Sara’s background in the luxury hospitality design field has allowed her to work both locally and globally, giving her a broad and nuanced perspective on luxury living from many cultural viewpoints. Leveraging this experience, Sara has turned her focus to the contemporary home. Her design philosophy is ‘livable luxury’ and she is passionate about creating a home that works for her clients— creating a space to rest and relax in, clearing out the chaos, and the joy of finding a place for everything— without sacrificing design quality.

As a mom that works from home and has worked from home since I became a momma, I know the struggle is real trying to juggle both. Some days are easier than others, but mom guilt is REAL even when you work from home. You want to do a really good job for your clients or employer, but you don’t want to ignore your kid or plop them in front of a screen (momma’s with young babies- you’re lucky if you can get three hours of work done a day).
Let’s be real, most of us are on some sort of budget. Especially when it comes to shopping for home goods. With this blog post, I’ve pulled together some of my best tips for furnishing your modern home on a budget. Because there is a LOT of information on this topic, I have broken up this blog post into two parts.

If you love Modern Boho interior design, and you’re looking for a change in your bathroom than consider this Get the look furniture board. I’ve incorporated the Boho style by using a fun eclectic floor tile, modern abstract art with Boho influence, some fun cabinet pulls, and a pop of color with the bathroom vanity choice. I’ve also mixed the metal finishes so that this bathroom design will stay timeless.
Do you want to make your living room more Boho-Modern, but you don’t know where to start? Use this Get the Look furniture board as inspiration, or you can purchase everything on this board if you LOVE it and gotta have it. Just make sure the sofa and coffee table fit in your room.
I know, it’s not even Thanksgiving yet and I’m already writing a blog post about Christmas decor. Every year this Christmas stuff comes out earlier and earlier. But, you know what? Every year I get more and more excited to get the house decorated for Christmas. Now that I’m a mamma, I love seeing the excitement of my little girl when we get our Christmas tree and decorate the house. She loves to help me with everything (she’s almost three years old, so everything feels brand new to her) and I love including her in the process. So I thought, I may as well get this blog post out now so that you (and I) could plan our decor for this season!
